Job Title: 1:1 Teaching assistant
Location: NN14 KetteringSalary: £90-95 a day
Hours: 8:30 - 3:30
Start date: September 2025
We are looking for an experienced 1:1 teaching assistant to work in a small growing primary school in Kettering. The school encourages every student to flourish in a calm environment. The children are incredibly well behaved and supported by hard working and dedicated teachers to achieve their best.
Key responsibilities- Follow plans provided and adapt where necessary for the individual needs of the students
- Provide social, emotional and academic support
- Foster strong relationships between students, parents and staff
- Have a good understanding of the national curriculum and expectations
- Encourage independence and use positive behaviour strategies
- Experience working as a teaching assistant with students with ADHD and Autism
- An understanding of SEN stategies
- A committment to a long term role
- A full driving licence (to travel between schools if required)
- Work in a friendly supportive school
- Make a meaningful impact in the lives of SEN students
