Area Sales Manager - Exciting Growth Opportunity
They are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Area Sales Manager to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales and profitability across the East Anglia, with a focus on both growing existing business and identifying new sales opportunities.If you have a passion for technical sales, a strong strategic mindset, and a proven track record in territory management, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve sales and profitability targets within the defined territory
- Develop and manage customer relationships to foster business growth
- Identify new sales opportunities, focusing on distribution channels and account acquisition
- Work closely with internal teams to maximize business potential
- Participate in sales meetings to present strategies and plans for territory development
- Spend 90% of time in the field meeting with customers and developing new business opportunities
- Collaborate with distributors and support their sales efforts
- Provide regular reports and market feedback
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in territory sales management within technical sales
- Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to manage time effectively, plan journeys, and use CRM systems for efficient territory management
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently under pressure
- Ability to travel and, when necessary, stay overnight within the sales territory
