Gledhow Primary School is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant with SEN experience to work across our school on a temporary basis until 31st August 2025, with the possibility of extending further.We are keen to speak to calm, caring, and resilient individuals who will bring a warm and nurturing personality to our school alongside an understanding of the families and children in our community.
Applications are welcome from suitably experienced and/or qualified Teaching Assistants who can demonstrate good teaching and learning skills with an understanding and awareness of special educational needs and early years.
About Us:
Gledhow is a super school with brilliant pupils, staff, governors, and families. We are a large busy three-form entry school in North Leeds with a wonderfully diverse pupil and colleague community.
This is a rewarding role where you will: Primarily provide 1 to 1 learning support addressing the individual needs of our SEN pupils.
Support the class teacher during lessons to create an engaging and supportive classroom.Help children throughout the day, including at playtimes and during dinner.
Work collaboratively as a team with our amazing teaching, learning support, and lunchtime colleagues.
The working hours are 32.5hrs per week, TTO, Monday to Friday 8.30am to 3.30pm. SEN experience is essential for this role.
