We are looking to recruit a Lighting Number 1 Lighting Technician for
our 2025 season, to lead the day to day running of the department
for our busy and varied season of shows at Regent’s Park Open Air
Theatre.

To assist the Head of Lighting and freelance technicians with installing the rig;

focusing and lighting shows as directed by the Lighting Designer to achieve
the requirements of each production.

Conduct daily rig checks and system tests to maintain the lighting systems and

fault find, swap out or repair as required.

Operating the lighting board for all performances, ensuring the look of the show is

maintained after the Lighting Designer leaves, post press night or technical freeze.

Making any practical electrics units required for individual shows.
Move any temporary stage lighting, re-focusing lights and set any practicals as

required on changeover days.
