You will be joining a high-profile and established main contractor based in Derby operating in the water sector. This multi-accredited organisation has a strong pipeline of work, being Severn Trent's preferred contractor for the delivery of their non-infrastructure works and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development.Their commitment to delivering an exceptional standard of work has positioned them as a leader in the water industry and, due to continued success, they are looking to onboard a Senior Process Engineer to join their design team.
This is a full-time permanent position based out of their Derby office with the option for hybrid working (2 days in the office and 3 days from home).
Your new role
As Senior Process Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Developing process engineering solutions to meet project scope requirements and client specifications
- Inputting into sampling programmes and process commissioning plans
- Preparing and reviewing technical reports
- Delivering process engineering designs, including process flow diagrams and calculations
- Providing technical guidance to junior process engineers
- Undertaking site visits and process surveys on occasion.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you must have:
- Experience in the design of clean water and/or wastewater treatment processes from concept to design
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to use process modelling software (desirable)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office packages
- Full UK driving licence.
