About the Role:As a Teacher of Economics at St Clare’s, you will inspire and support students in developing their understanding of economic principles within an international context. You will deliver engaging lessons that encourage critical thinking and real-world application while fostering curiosity and academic excellence.
Skills and Qualifications:- Relevant Honours Degree and PGCE (or equivalent)
- Previous teaching experience required; enthusiasm for education is essential
- Strong knowledge of economics concepts suitable for IB curricula (DP) or willingness to learn these frameworks
- Excellent communication skills with ability to engage diverse learners
- Ability to plan and deliver effective lessons tailored to different age groups within Further Education
- Commitment to creating an inclusive classroom environment that respects cultural diversity
- Passion for student development both academically and personally
- Openness to collaboration with colleagues across departments
