The Dietitians at Barnet, play a crucial role in supporting patients to optimise their abilities through therapeutic interventions and collaborative efforts. The dietetic team comprises of 4 Band 7 paediatric dietitians working in Neonates, allergy, diabetes and general paediatrics in and outpatient settings.We also work closely with the wider MDT.
The successful candidate will work across general inpatient and outpatient setting including an element of allergy and diabetes. You will also be supported to upskill to cover the neonatal ward when required.
We offer flexible working and some home working opportunities if the caseload allows.

Education
Essential criteria- Recognised Dietetics Degree qualification or equivalent
- Health Professions Council – Licence to Practice
- Evidence of portfolio of post graduate continued development
Experience
Essential criteria- Experience of paediatric allergy
- Experience of working with allergy (or another long term condition) and their families
- Experience of supervising junior staff and dietetic students
- Actively involved in teaching and challenging the multidisciplinary team
- Experience of delivering and evaluating group education to a range of client groups
- Awareness/experience of setting & maintaining clinical standards and clinical audit
- Evidence of presentation of own research/project work
- Evidence of service development & contribution to change within the workplace
