Construction of the new integrated critical care unit was completed in 2018, extension of a Neonatal Unit and an approved plan to build a brand new, state of the art Emergency Department which commenced in 2021
We provide high quality, friendly and effective community health services from multiple sites covering Walsall. Our multidisciplinary services include rapid response and homebased care, so that those with long term conditions and the frail elderly can remain in their own homes.

Walsall HealthCare NHS Trust is one of the busiest Units in the West Midlands.Our Maternity Unit here currently delivers over 3300 women per year.
A position has arisen within our dedicated team for a Neonatal Nurse.
We are a designated Local Neonatal Unit (LNU) within the busy West Midlands Neonatal operational Delivery Network and actively participate in Network groups and business.
We are passionate about maintaining our high quality nursing care and would like to recruit high calibre, dynamic, motivated and compassionate nurses to join our team
Our Neonatal unit has 15 cots, which is comprised of 2 intensive cots, 2 high dependency cots and 11 special care cots. Designated LNU, (Level 2) we provide excellent care for preterm babies from 28 weeks’ gestation and for sick new born babies.We provide stabilisation for babies at born at lower gestations prior to transfer to NICU

You will need to be RNC/RN qualified plus the commitment and enthusiasm for working within this field. You will be joining a team who work a variety of shifts including internal rotation to night duty.
