Events Floor Manager
THE ROLE
As Events Manager you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the events team with a strong focus on attracting new business. Your tasks will include but will not be limited to:
- Managing the food & beverage service teams during the delivery of events
- Delegation of tasks to your supervisors and waiters
- To liaise directly with event organisers to ensure all planned and requested requests are completed on time
- Be forward thinking and innovative when it comes to ways of working and best practice.
- Proactively come up with suggestions to ensure all events are a success.
- To liaise closely with the supporting departments including the kitchen team on a regular basis during the event, to ensure the smooth event execution
- To ensure that company and statutory standards and legislations are adhered to, so that our hotel, guests and colleagues are kept safe at all times.
- To be an ambassador for Nobu as well as a strong leader who embodies our values and commitment to our teams.
- Continuously improving service by communicating and assisting individuals to understand and anticipate guest needs, deliver training, guidance, feedback, and individual coaching when needed.
- Assist the Events Operations Supervisors and waiter team to perform their roles, by providing training and removing obstacles.
- Act as main point of contact to both event organisers, vendors and suppliers.
- Suggest changes or improvements to increase accuracy, efficiency, cost reductions and to improve guest experience.
- To communicate with and assist individuals to understand and anticipate guest needs, deliver training, guidance, feedback, and individual coaching when needed.
