Job Description
The Project Planner will report to the Planning Manager and be responsible for planning and monitoring infrastructure projects The role requires close collaboration with Operational and Project Managers to ensure the timely delivery of the project in line with contractual obligations budgets and quality standards
Key Responsibilities- Attend progress meetings with clients subcontractors and partners
- Update the programme regularly including targets progress reporting and 4-week look ahead
- Adhere to Health Safety requirements and best practices
- Work closely with the Operations Manager Project Manager and engineers to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules critical path analysis and earned value monitoring
- Coordinate resource planning project progress monitoring and reporting
- Provide coaching and support to project staff on planning-related tasks
- Collaborate with third parties like suppliers and subcontractors to ensure project integration
- Develop planning procedures ensuring best practices for schedule creation and maintenance
- Regularly report project status and provide feedback for corrective actions
- Primavera P6 Extensive experience in using this software
- Health Safety Environment Adherence to HS regulations
- MS Office Intermediate proficiency
- Teamwork Communication Strong collaborative and communication skills
- Logical Methodical Ability to approach tasks in an organized manner
- Project Planning Experience in multi-project and multi-disciplinary environments
- Earned Value Monitoring Proficient in monitoring and reporting project performance
- QUENSH CDM Regulations Knowledge is an advantage
- Ensure project activities comply with SHE policies
- Maintain ongoing communication with key stakeholders to track progress and meet deadlines
- Develop and refine planning processes and procedures
- Track analyse and report project progress including resource planning and earned value analysis
- Assist in coaching other staff members in project planning and monitoring

- Proven experience with Primavera software for complex project scheduling
- Energetic proactive and able to motivate self and others
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong leadership and ability to achieve project objectives
- Analytical thinking and flexibility
