Hours: 17.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per yearBasis: Fixed term until 31st August 2025
Grade/Salary: Band 3, SCP 6-9. £23,893 - £25,119 per annum (Pay Award Pending)
Actual salary: £9,746.89 - £10,247.02 per annum (Pro rata)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, dedicated teaching assistant to join our Christ the King CVA team. You will be responsible for:
Working 1:1 to support children who may need access to an alternative curriculum to support their behaviour and learningWorking with teachers to raise the learning and attainment of pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)
Promoting pupils’ independence, self-esteem and social inclusion
Giving support to pupils, individually or in groups, so they can access the curriculum, take part in learning and experience a sense of achievementWhat are we looking for?
If you are an enthusiastic and supportive Teaching Assistant who is committed to getting the best outcomes for pupils then we want to hear from you. The successful candidate will be able to build effective working relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.Experience of adapting their approach to meet the needs of all pupils, including having an understanding of a range of complex needs and needs associated with attachment and trauma, would be desirable.
