Unqualified TA/Teacher Roles
Teaching Personnel are currently looking for unqualified Teaching Assistants and Cover Supervisors that are keen to work across multiple schools in and around the Bath area. As a cover supervisor, you will be responsible for carrying out lessons in the absence of full-time staff and ensure that children still receive high level learning to achieve their goals.
The successful applicant will be:
- Confident and enthusiastic with a passion to work in and support SEN children
- Has a passion for teaching and supporting young people
- Ability to slot into new environments with ease
- Experience within relevant fields (coaching, tutoring, lecturing etc)
- Comfortable covering a range of subjects using preplanned work
- Be prepared to work on short notice
- Be over the age of 18
- Have an enhanced DBS (Child Only) on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one
- Confident using a range of behaviour management techniques to fit in line with schools policies
- Strong and clear with the command of the English Language both verbally and written when working with additional needs

Working on a supply basis will require you to ideally have your own form of transport / access to good public transport links. We also have several pre-planned absences where we will be able to provide you with advanced notice of work, allowing you plenty of time to prepare for the day ahead.

In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
