We are WR Fundraising Recruitment and we are delighted to be retained again by the inspirational Shakespeare Hospice. At an exciting time of organisational development, we are recruiting a for a newly created Senior Fundraising Manager position to further strengthen the income generation team.

Working with an approachable Head of Fundraising with a track record of impact across the sector, the Senior Fundraising Manager will have the opportunity to ensure the success of a fundraising team - incorporating individual giving, trusts, events, community fundraising while taking hands-on responsibility for a well developed corporate partnerships and an emerging major donor income stream.

This is a wonderful opportunity to work with a well-supported and financially secure hospice, to work on strategy and budgetary development while nurturing a small team of experienced fundraisers.

Senior Fundraising Manager
Full Time, Permanent
Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire office (0.6 - 0.8 on site)

£40,000 - £45,000 per annum

Duties will include:
  • Responsibility for the day to day management of the fundraising team of the Hospice
  • Work closely with the Head of Income Generation to develop and nurture corporate partnerships and Major Donors.
  • Provide positive and inspirational leadership to the Income Generation team
  • Ensure income is tracked against targets and will drive individual KPI achievements
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture, encouraging professional growth and recognising achievements.
  • Develop and nurture corporate partnerships, providing strategic guidance and support to secure sustainable income.
  • Provide guidance and support to the Community and Events Fundraiser, ensuring effective planning, organisation, and delivery of fundraising events.
  • Oversee compliance with all relevant legislation and codes of practice, including the Fundraising Regulator’s Code, Charity Commission guidelines, GDPR, and The Gambling Commission.
  • Support the Head of Income Generation in the annual budget-setting process and ongoing budget management.
  • Use data analytics to monitor fundraising performance, participant engagement, and donor behaviours.
Ideal candidates will have:
  • Advanced knowledge and experience of charitable income generation across a range of fundraising channels
  • Significant experience in fundraising in a managerial role
  • Experience of leading, managing and motivating a team
  • Experience of managing relationships with key stakeholders to deliver fundraising objectives
  • Ability and knowledge to assess, develop and implement effective fundraising strategies to achieve significant income activity
  • Familiarity with event planning, logistics and income generation strategies
  • Knowledge of relevant fundraising regulations and best practice
  • Experience of budget management
