Teacher of MFL
We are looking to recruit an outstanding Teacher of MFL who can inspire our students to learn with enthusiasm and to enjoy the experiences a school can bring to a child. Both experienced and early career teachers (ECTs) are welcome to apply to this post.
The successful candidate will be based at one of our secondary schools and this will be determined upon appointment. We are willing to negotiate the best location to attract the right candidate.
The ideal candidate will:
- Be an effective classroom practitioner with a proven track record of inspiring and motivating students
- Be a specialist in French and Spanish with the ability to teach GCSE
- Be able to plan for success and evaluate progress and outcomes
- Be able to coach, inspire and enthuse students effectively
- Be passionate about child-centred educational principles
- Be committed to our ethos that all students can achieve at Thornhill Community Academy
- Have great references demonstrating they are a suitable candidate, safe to work with children
