[ref. i11882021] Radiology Appointments Co-ordinator | Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
This position requires working across multiple sites including King's Mill Hospital, Newark Hospital, and CDC.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide a high-quality service to patients attending the X-Ray Department by managing an efficient appointments system, considering modernisation requirements for new “booking” methods.
- Support the Radiology Clerical Services Manager by monitoring waiting times for radiology activities in line with local and national targets.
- Ensure the provision of the highest quality patient care through personal actions and continuous improvement.
- Create and monitor rotas, ensuring the CRIS diary reflects the availability and clinic skills of radiologists and sonographers.
- Monitor diagnostic waiting lists, prioritise 2WW patients, and escalate capacity issues.
- Liaise with radiologists and sonographers, managing any necessary list cancellations at short notice.
- Book complex radiology procedures according to booking protocols.
