Randstad Education is seeking compassionate and dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistants to join our network of partner schools.
You will be:
- A Champion for Children: Providing vital support to children and young people who need extra help to manage their emotions, behaviors, and social skills.
- A Skilled and Patient Guide: Working closely with teachers to implement positive behavior strategies, create a safe and supportive learning environment, and help students build resilience.
- A Trusted Role Model: Demonstrating empathy, understanding, and a positive attitude to build strong, trusting relationships with your students.

- Resilience and Patience: You understand that supporting students with SEMH needs requires dedication, empathy, and a willingness to persevere.
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: You can build positive relationships with students, parents, and teachers, and you can effectively communicate with those with diverse needs.
- Experience Working with SEMH: You have experience working with children and young people with emotional and behavioral challenges, ideally in a school setting.
- A Positive Attitude: You are enthusiastic, adaptable, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Commitment to Safeguarding: You are dedicated to promoting the well-being and safety of all children.
