Hours: 7.05 hours per week (12:00pm - 1:25pm), 38 weeks per year (term time only)Required for Monday 4th November 2024
The Headteacher and Governing Body are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and well-motivated individual as Midday Supervisor. We are large primary school with children from a wide range of backgrounds that represent the diverse community the school serves.
As a school set in the heart of the community, we would welcome applications for these posts from the people living in the locality, who pride themselves on making a difference to the young people that live here.
We are looking for someone who:- will supervise children during the lunch break
- can help children eating their school dinner or packed lunch
- can supervise children in the playground
- can supervise children in their classes during inclement weather
- will play games and undertake activities with the children
- will manage children’s behaviour positively in line with school policy
- is able to follow the school’s safeguarding policy and procedures
This salary is subject to the Living Wage supplement which brings pay rates up to £12 per hour (scp 2 - 4). This supplement will be reviewed in January 2024 and thereafter annually in April. Cardiff Council reserves the right to make any changes to, or removal of, the Living Wage supplement.
