Science Teacher
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Science Teacher to join a small, specialist setting that provides education to students with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs. In this role, you'll work with a small group of students aged 7-18 who have complex SEMH requirements, requiring a flexible and personalized approach to teaching.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across various subjects.
- Offer one-on-one support to students, ensuring their emotional and educational needs are met.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Report safeguarding concerns in accordance with school protocols.
- Contribute to improving student outcomes and achieving high educational standards.
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has experience working in a SEND or SEMH environment, with a strong understanding of SEMH needs.
- Demonstrates patience, resilience, and empathy when supporting students with diverse emotional and educational challenges.
- Team Teach trained (preferred but not essential).
- Committed to fostering a positive ethos and striving for the best outcomes for all students.
