We are looking to give a proactive, adaptable, and passionate individual the opportunity to play a key role as an Account Manager in our B2B branch of the Future Fit Group.
Role and Responsibilities:
As an Account Manager for Future Fit for Business, you will be the key contact for many of our corporate clients. Reporting to the Business Development Manager, your primary focus will be on developing strong relationships with our existing stakeholders and responding to new sales enquiries as required by the BDM.
You will look to identify potential areas of growth through our expanding product offering and ensure your accounts are continually receiving a premium level of customer service via regular scheduled meetings and customer specific engagement plans.
You will be trusted to work off your own initiative, developing customer contact strategies with an in-depth knowledge of the technical solutions and products the organisation offers. Always looking to enhance the reputation of Future Fit for Business, you will improve operational management systems, processes, and best practices as required.Duties
- Develop trusted, long-term relationships by maintaining ongoing communication and fostering relationships to provide support and a high level of customer service.
- Maintain regular contact with customers, proactively making them aware of the full scope of our product mix and ensuring clients receive requested information on products, services, and requests promptly.
- Proactively identify opportunities to develop client accounts through upselling and cross-selling new products, services, and solutions, encouraging customers to sign up to contracts where possible to increase recurring revenue.
- Oversee, enhance, and develop all partnerships that Future Fit for Business has with its customers after the point of sale.
- Generate Account specific and customer specific engagement plans.
- Have full understanding of business performance and key performance drivers including performing quality controls and monitor of KPIs.
- Ensure a clear meeting schedule is developed and adhered to.
- Manage customer product mix and align with strategic brand and category guidelines.
- Develop and implement full customer contact strategies.
- Drive new business supporting the BDM where required.
- Draft compelling commercial and customer-focused proposals.
- Travel for customer review meetings and events (throughout the UK).
- Ensure all operations are carried out in an appropriate, cost-effective way.
- Design policies that align with the overall strategy.
- Implement efficient processes and standards.
- Oversee the implementation of technology solutions throughout the organisation.
- Report on operational performance and suggest improvements.
- Improve operational management systems, processes, and best practices.
- Support the implementation and provide ongoing support of the learning platform for new and existing customers and ensure planned launch dates are adhered to.
- Support the sales process with demos of the LMS platform.
- Configure customer-specific reporting and analysis based on learning engagement and completion data.
- Generate training uptake data for each customer year on year (for example, CPD, hours and courses) as required.
- Update the company CRM with details of any customer contact and upload any reports and documents shared with the customer.
- Collect and send data around customer participation and engagement to the Business Development and Projects Manager within 7 days of a contract commencing. Continue to collect and send this data at regular intervals, as specified by the internal contract/implementation plan for each customer.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
- A strong passion for customer service and an ability to proactively forge strong industry relationships.
- Proven experience in account management.
- Confident communicator, able to work with people and groups at all levels.
- A full understanding of business performance and key performance drivers including performing quality controls and monitor of KPIs.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise workload, and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- A basic/intermediate understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- A team player with a can-do attitude!
