An exciting opportunity for a Senior Finance Manager role within the Financial Management Team at RDaSH supporting our Corporate/Backbone services. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual, who is an excellent team player, to support the Financial Management function.
It is essential candidates have excellent communication skills, with the ability to develop effective working relations with both internal and external managers and stakeholders. Applicants should also have good prioritisation and organisation skills and be flexible as the workload requires.
The suitable candidate will be actively studying towards a professional accounting qualification and have experience of working in management accounts.
Previous experience of working in a public sector organisation and experience of the NHS is highly desirable.

The post will be based at Holly Lodge, Tickhill Road Hospital and may be required to travel regularly working across the Trust’s localities including Rotherham and North Lincolnshire and to events elsewhere. Currently the roles mixes working from the office and from home.
Main duties of the job
As a Senior Finance role, you will work closely with designated Corporate Services in providing a pro-active, high quality Management Accounts service, providing expert financial advise to senior leadership within Corporate services.
You will be responsible managing the month-end process for Corporate services, liaising with the Senior Finance Business Partner where appropriate, through the line management of two Assistant Management Accountants.
You may be required to occasionally deputise for one of the Corporate Senior Finance Business Partner or Assistant Director of Finance (Financial Management) as well as provide senior finance support to Trust wide projects.

Person specification
Qualifications
Essential criteria- Part qualified CCAB accountant, actively studying
- 5 GCSEs grade C or above, including English and Mathematics
- Degree in Finance, or similar (business studies, e.g.) at 2:1 or higher
- Fully CCAB qualified accountant or final stages of study
- Continuous learning and development
Experience
Essential criteria- Previous Management Accounts experience/training
- Communicated with non-financial staff
- Microsoft Office Skills
- Influencing stakeholder decision-making
- Leading projects
- Understanding of NHS financial frameworks and current environment
- Previous NHS Experience
