Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Assessment: Conduct mental health assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with patients and the multidisciplinary team.
• Medication Management: Administer medications safely and monitor patient response, ensuring all procedures comply with NHS guidelines.
• Therapeutic Interventions: Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support patients in managing their mental health.
• Crisis Intervention: Provide immediate care and support to patients in mental health crises, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Patient Advocacy: Support and advocate for patients' rights, ensuring they are treated with dignity and respect.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in line with NHS standards, ensuring confidentiality and data protection at all times.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic care.

Key Requirements:

• NMC registration as a Mental Health Nurse (RMN)
• Minimum of 6 months of NHS experience in a mental health setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage complex cases
• A compassionate and patient-centred approach
