This school, located in North Bristol, is in search of an empathetic individual to join their staff as a Teaching Assistant in their SEN department in this school in this new term. It is located along a public bus route and has a car park on site. This is a full-time, long-term role.
Your new role:
This new role will take place inside this school’s Year 2 classroom, working in the mornings with a young individual who has autism. You will be this child’s key person as they learn to develop their skills and confidence in the classroom alongside their peers.Your role will consist of working with this child on their academic skills, alongside their developmental skills and taking them outside the classroom for brain breaks. Also focusing on concentration and reviewing the content that has been taught in the classroom in their own special way.
Requirements to succeed in your new role:
- Teaching Assistant experience within the last two years
- Two working references from your most recent jobs that apply relevance to the position
- Previous work with young children is required.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service – this can be done with us here at Hays!
