Communications and Engagement Manager | The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust
You will have knowledge of service transformation and be a confident negotiator, experienced in working with internal communications, writing and editing content for a range of audiences.
The role includes staff, patient and public involvement, skills in organising and leading events and stakeholder mapping. It will also include supporting with media management, social media, website management, proactive reputation building and PR activity.
You may be required to work at occasional evening and weekend events and travel across the county. Previous experience of working in a similar environment is desirable.
The post holder will be an excellent communicator with creative vision and strong project management and engagement skills. They will have knowledge of service transformation and be a confident negotiator, experienced in working with the media, writing and editing content for a range of audiences.They will also have experience of using a variety of digital communications channels including websites, intranets and social media.
Flexibility, confidence, diplomacy, creativity and engagement skills are a must, plus evidence of working with senior-level individuals in a complex environment. The post holder will be expected to engage with internal and external "customers" to understand their requirements, manage their expectations and deliver results.
