HGV Technician

Recruit4Staff are proud to be representing their client, a well-established Waste Management Company, in their search for a HGV Technician to work from their Wrexham office.

What our client is offering for the successful HGV Technician :

• £42,000 - £48,000 P/Annum
• Shift: 4 days on / 4 days off (6am until 6pm)
• Permanent
• Benefits: 20 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays, Pension, parking, Call Out Payments, overtime 1.5x, use of company van

The Role - HGV Technician :

• Responsible for performing routine maintenance, diagnosis and repairs to heavy goods vehicles
• Performing regular inspection and general preventive maintenance services
• Maintaining records of vehicles that have been repaired or handled
• Completing relevant documentation and paperwork as required and providing warranty claims or escalating them to higher management
• Routinely work on call to support the fleet out of hours

What we are looking for in a HGV Technician :

• Previous HGV Technician / fitter experience - ESSENTIAL
• Level 3 HGV Mechanics as minimum qualification - ESSENTIAL
• Able to work shift patterns
• Class 1 license as a minimum - ESSENTIAL
