Requirements

Based on site in our Reading offices you'll play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
Responsibilities Include:
- Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials, in-process assemblies, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications
- Perform visual, mechanical, and electrical inspections using a variety of precision measurement tools and equipment
- Record and report inspection data, including defects and non-conformities, in accordance with established procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions
- Support in creating and preparing process documentation
- Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance quality control processes
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety guidelines and protocols
Ideally, You'll Have:
- Experience as a Quality Inspector in a manufacturing environment, preferably from within a regulated industry
- Strong knowledge of quality inspection techniques and methods
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents
- Proficient in the use of precision measurement tools and equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Certification in quality inspection or related field is a plus
- Flexibility to travel to our logistics hub in Thatcham from time to time
