Job Advertisement: Traffic Banksman in London Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Traffic Banksman to join our team in London. This position offers 9.5 hours paid work for 3 to 4 days a week, with the requirement to stand next to an excavator digging pits for a couple of days.
The ideal candidate must possess a CPCS Banksman certification.
Responsibilities- Directing and controlling traffic on construction sites to ensure the safe movement of vehicles
- Guiding the excavator operator to ensure safe and efficient digging of pits
- Communicating effectively with the site team to coordinate traffic movements
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations and procedures
- Valid CPCS Banksman certification
- Proven experience as a Traffic Banksman on construction sites
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Directing traffic and ensuring the safe movement of vehicles
- Guiding the excavator operator to dig pits safely and efficiently
- Communicating with the site team to coordinate traffic movements
- Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
