Interim Commercial Finance Manager - London/Kent

Interim Commercial Finance Manager – 1 year term – London/Kent **

£450-500 per day (inside IR35)

Grafton Banks Finance is seeking an experienced and qualified Commercial Finance Manager (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) to join a well-known business with a meaningful purpose, for a 1-year maternity cover role.

Acting as a key member of the commercial finance team and reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, this role requires an enthusiastic individual to work closely with senior leadership team of a division and own the financial modelling behind business performance.

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

• Acting as finance business partner for the Division and working with the CEO stakeholder.
• Provide strategic financial leadership and ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
• Responsible for producing the annual budget and forecasting processes, driving financial performance improvements in the Division.
• Provide guidance for Regional Directors enabling them to understand and track financial data against KPI’s.
• Analysis on the key drivers of the division’s performance, particularly revenue, occupancy and salaries.
• Maintain the funding model.

The successful candidate:

• You will need to be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA).
• Experience as Commercial Finance Manager for a large national business is essential.
• Exceptional financial analysis/financial modelling experience and a commercial mindset.
• Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills are paramount.
• Able to commute to central London 2 days per week, with occasional travel to the Kent office.
• PowerPoint, Advanced Excel, Power BI (or similar), and Financial Modelling.
