This opportunity is with a well known international law firm. The role is for a Costs Draftsperson to join their team in either Manchester or Liverpool.

• As a Costs Draftsperson you will:
• Provide advice on cost recovery and cost management strategies.
• Negotiate settlements with opposing parties effectively.
• Handle costs assessments and provide expert guidance on legal costs.
• Support the team with cost-related queries and documentation.
• Advise clients on cost-saving measures and best practices in cost planning.
• Stay updated on changes in costs law and industry standards.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Costs Draftsperson should have:

• Proven experience in drafting bills of costs and cost budgets.
• Strong knowledge of legal costs procedures and regulations.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate documentation.
• Familiarity with cost management systems and software tools.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and client support.
