Cover Supervisor

Start Date: As soon as possible

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our team on a supply basis.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the continuity of education for our students during teacher's absences. You will be responsible for delivering pre-prepared lessons, managing classroom behaviour, and ensuring a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise classes during teacher's absences, ensuring students remain on task with their learning.
• Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and resources.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Provide support and guidance to students as needed.
• Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
• Report any issues or concerns to the appropriate staff members.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with secondary school students is desirable.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work flexibly and adapt to different classroom environments.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
