Sale High School is looking to appoint a Wellbeing Support Assistant to support students who struggle with their social,. emotional and mental health.

About the Role:

To work under the direct instruction of our Assistant Head for Inclusion
  • To support students who struggle with their social, emotional and mental health
  • Provide in lesson support to students who are behaviourally challenging
  • Liaise with parents and care givers in line with school policy

About You:

We will provide the training you need to get off to a great start in this role. You will need:

  • Good numeracy and literacy skills (GCSE grade C/4 or above)
  • Experience of working with children of secondary school age
  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant
  • Ability to relate well to children and adults
  • To be able to work well as part of a team
  • To have an understanding of Safeguarding
