Sale High School is looking to appoint a Wellbeing Support Assistant to support students who struggle with their social,. emotional and mental health.

About the Role:
To work under the direct instruction of our Assistant Head for Inclusion- To support students who struggle with their social, emotional and mental health
- Provide in lesson support to students who are behaviourally challenging
- Liaise with parents and care givers in line with school policy
About You:
We will provide the training you need to get off to a great start in this role. You will need:
- Good numeracy and literacy skills (GCSE grade C/4 or above)
- Experience of working with children of secondary school age
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant
- Ability to relate well to children and adults
- To be able to work well as part of a team
- To have an understanding of Safeguarding
