My client is seeking a Structural Engineer to join their dynamic team within the software industry. This role is an exciting opportunity to innovate in construction and contribute to global safety. You will work closely with potential customers, demonstrate their solutions, and develop relationships with Consulting Engineering practices and Steel Fabricators to create mindshare and generate demand for their solutions.
Day to Day of the Role:
- Handle incoming requests and work with leads to generate opportunities.
- Arrange meetings and discussions with prospects and customers.
- Demonstrate our software solutions to prospects.
- Manage and control the sales process to achieve a predictable pipeline from prospecting, qualifying, management, and sales closure.
- Maintain good customer relationships and service to attain excellent customer satisfaction and renewal business.
- Obtain customer feedback valuable for product improvement and communicate this with our development team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Civil or structural engineering background.
- Keen interest in software products for structural engineering.
- Strong presentation skills, both written and oral.
- Commercial awareness.
- Experience in construction and/or a sales role is an added advantage.
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and initiative-driven with the confidence to fit quickly into a team.
- Knowledge of at least one CAE/FEA software used by structural engineers (e.g., SCIA Engineer, Dlubal RFEM, Advance Design, or Buildsoft). CAD software knowledge (e.g., Tekla, Revit) is a plus.
