Job Description

As a Trainee Paraplanner, you will be supporting the Senior Paraplanners with administration support to service clients needs around financial advice, and ensuring that this service is a top class standard. The main duties will be:

• Servicing existing business, platform based work, illustrations and regular contact directly with clients & wrap/platform providers
• Analysing information and conducting basic research to produce siutability reports
• Receiving and acting on instructions from advisers and paraplanner following client meetings
• Maintaining accurate records using back office systems
• Submitting plans to third party provider companies
• Providing records to support research undertaken
• Obtaining illustrations and product information from providers
• Liaising with clients and product providers on outstanding documents and queries
• Ensuring all client files are compliant on an ongoing basis

The Successful Applicant

For this role, we are looking for someone who has:

• Worked in a similar role with experience of paraplanning or administrative support for financial planners or front office
• Studying towards or willing to study towards professional exams
• Excellent communication skills with confidence to speak to various stakeholders and enjoys client interaction
• Prides themselves on their customer service skills
• Has a strong attention to detail and able to work with a high level of accuracy
• Strong analytical skills and able to solves problems effectively
• Confidence with systems and IT, and worked with wraps/platforms previously
