Warehouse Manager

Job description

Our client is a leading supplier in their sector, who are committed to delivering high-quality products while maintaining rigorous food safety standards. They are currently looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with food safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and distributing products.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards, including BRC, and other relevant food safety regulations.
• Lead, train, and motivate the warehouse team to maintain high levels of productivity and safety.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee stock control processes.
• Optimise warehouse layout and workflow to maximise efficiency.
• Coordinate with logistics and production teams to ensure timely dispatch and receipt of goods.
• Ensure all health and safety policies and procedures are adhered to.
• Monitor and maintain equipment, ensuring all is in safe working condition.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure food quality, safety, and hygiene standards are upheld.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience in warehouse management, ideally within a food-related industry.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards (e.g. BRC).
• Leadership experience with a proven ability to manage, motivate, and develop teams.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.

Pay: £32,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
