This well-established boutique law firm in Newton Abbot is looking to expand its Residential Property team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Residential Conveyancer, Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer with at least 2 years' PQE to join a close-knit and supportive practice handling quality conveyancing work
Key Responsibilities:
As part of the Residential Property department, you will:
- Manage a caseload of residential conveyancing files from instruction to completion
- Handle a broad mix of property matters including:
- Freehold and leasehold sales & purchases
- New build transactions
- Shared ownership and Help to Buy
- Remortgages and equity release
- Work on a realistically sized caseload with full administrative support
- Collaborate closely with experienced colleagues to further develop your technical skills
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- 2+ years PQE as a Solicitor, Legal Executive (CILEx), or Licensed Conveyancer
- Proven experience in residential property law
- Ability to manage a conveyancing caseload independently
- Strong client care and organisational skills
- Confident in handling varied matters including new build and shared ownership
Experienced Paralegals and unqualified Fee Earners with a stable track record of running their own caseloads are also encouraged to apply
