Sales Account Manager (Firestop) - North East

The team are currently looking for the right individual to join their diverse and successful construction project team as a Firestop - Sales Account Manager, looking after B2B Customer Accounts in the North East and Borders of Scotland.
What does the role involve?In your role as a Firestop – Sales Account Manager no day will be the same but some of the day-to-day activities you can typically expect are;
- Sales and Business Development : Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities on construction projects, managing key accounts, and achieving sales targets
- You will develop sales opportunities for both existing product range, whilst promoting digital adoption and industry innovation
- To stay close to the action you would be required to monitor industry developments
- Customer Relationship Management : Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions through possible engineered solutions
- Technical Expertise : Offering in-depth knowledge of Hilti products and services, advising on their application, and ensuring optimal use in projects.
- Project Coordination : Collaborating with internal teams and clients to ensure seamless project execution, from planning to completion. No day will be the same and you would be overseeing projects costs to ensure they remain in line with forecasts as well as completing work quality inspections and having the ability to read construction drawings
What you need is: To be successful as a Firestop Sales Account Manager you will need;
- Knowledge of construction and able to utilise this to provide solutions for customers within your location.
- Able to manage projects to specification and deliverables.
- Clear demonstration of understanding or relationships with key players/customers
- An interest in continuous learning and self-development
- Open to the use of public transport and wearing PPE
- Valid driving license to UK DVLA requirements Desirable
- Experience of direct selling sales.
- Experience of construction materials specifically firestop and its use.
- Engineering or Project Management at degree or NVQ level desirable but not essential.
