We are looking for a highly motivated Corporate Partnerships and/or Philanthropy specialist to join an outstanding organisation in the south west.

About the role
The Corporate Partnerships & Philanthropy Manager will be responsible for driving income generation for the organisation through acquiring and managing relationships with corporate partners and major donors.
You will proactively identify prospects, build relationships and prepare inspiring proposals to secure new income to help meet ambitious fundraising targets.
You will also be responsible for managing some of the charity’s highest value existing relationships, providing excellent stewardship and thinking creatively to maximise their impact through new initiatives.
Key responsibilities:
- Implement and refine the organisations new Corporate Partnerships & Philanthropy strategy.
- Work closely with the Executive and Leadership teams, and clinical colleagues, to understand the organisations funding needs and wider support requirements.
- Identify suitable corporate partner & major donor prospects and carrying out thorough research to support approaches.
- Actively network and build effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to influence and inspire support.
- Develop creative and compelling proposals that align with the organisation's and supporters’ strategic goals.
- Prepare professional partnership fundraising plans, donor communications and impact reports.
- Plan and deliver events to support corporate partner and major donor acquisition and stewardship.
- Maintain a complete, accurate and up-to-date pipeline of fundraising opportunities and provide monthly commentary to support financial forecasting and prioritisation.
- Deliver agreed income targets and grow income from corporate partners and major donors in line with strategic goals.
- Line manage team member responsible for collecting donations from collection tins positioned in local businesses across the community.
- Coach and mentor colleagues in the Community & Events team to build their knowledge, expertise and confidence in Corporate Fundraising.
About you
You will be an experienced fundraising professional with a background in Corporate and/or Philanthropy and will act as a true ambassador to the organisation.
You will need to bring with you the following skills and experience:
- Experience of securing and managing income-generating partnerships within the charity or commercial sector
- Experience of the New Business journey including identifying prospects, researching, making approaches, preparing proposals and delivering pitches
- Experience of growing income through excellent stewardship and partnership development
- Experience of stewarding philanthropists/major donors
- Experience of using a pipeline to record and track progress of fundraising relationships
