Senior Engineering Manager (Agile) Nottingham / WFH to £90k
Do you enjoy leading and developing successful Agile tech teams? You could be progressing your career, in an impactful Senior Engineering Manager role at a B2B tech company that provides a range of software solutions to energy suppliers from small start-ups through to major household names, covering everything from connecting to the grid through to CRM systems.
As a Senior Engineering Manager you'll head up the Cash Tribe, supporting five Agile Squads (c10 people in total) to deliver a range of debt management and credit checking solutions using cloud technologies. You'll help the team to transition from a scale-up mindset to a more established tech firm with Agile software engineering best practices and processes.You will be key in developing others to succeed and progress their careers, instilling a positive team culture, providing line management to Engineering Managers and Team Leads, 1-2-1s and promoting from within the team.
You will also have lots of business interaction, collaborating with the Product Team on new innovations and working with business stakeholders to input into decision making.
Location / WFH:
There's a remote interview and onboarding process and you'll be able to work from most of the time, meeting up with the team for constructive meetings once a month / quarter in the Nottingham office (expenses paid).
About you:
- You have experience of leading high achieving Agile software engineering teams / Tribes / Squads
- You have experience of establishing software engineering best practices and building inclusive, diverse cultures
- You have a technical background; with a strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle, best practices and Agile development methodologies
- You enjoy developing others and helping them to improve and succeed
- You have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
