Teacher of Spanish (part-time) - ref. k47612503
St Mark’s CE School is one whole school community, where we create a sense of belonging for all who enter. Our core Christian values of love, belonging, and service are nurtured and modelled through high standards by excellent staff.
We are seeking an exceptional Spanish teacher to join our growing team as we expand into Key Stage 4. You should be able to inspire our students in line with our whole school Christian distinctiveness and ethos, helping them achieve excellence.
At St Mark’s, we work collaboratively to plan lessons, ensuring consistency and high-quality teaching. We also believe in the power of mixed-ability teaching, ensuring all students can access and excel in mathematics.
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled teacher with strong secondary-phase knowledge to join our school community. Our warm-strict behaviour policy allows teachers to enjoy teaching without disruption. As a growing school, opportunities for professional development are rich, and you will be part of a unique and exciting setting.
To be successful, you will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with evidence of recent professional development. You will be a passionate and creative teacher, ready to contribute to our collaborative and ambitious team in our all-through school.
Ambition and energy are equally as important as experience and applicants are warmly invited to visit the school. Visits can be arranged by contacting the Head of Secondary, Mr Ben Godber via email at bgodber@st-marks-southampton.org.uk
Applications can be made through TES or directly via the school website. https://www.stmarksschool.co.uk/community/vacancies-at-st-marks/ and return completed applications to: recruitment@st-marks-southampton.org.uk
We look forward to hearing from you. Closing date Monday 5th May (4.00pm)
