Are you passionate about promoting health and wellbeing among young people? We are seeking a dynamic Nurse Immunisation Coordinator to lead a vital immunisation programme for school-age children and young people (ages 11-19). You will play a key role in delivering essential vaccinations, including the Td-IPV teenage booster, HPV, Men ACWY, and COVID-19 vaccines, all while adhering to public health guidelines and service specifications.

In this exciting role, you will:

Coordinate Immunisation Efforts:Collaborate with schools and colleges across the borough to ensure every child has access to life-saving vaccinations, especially those in hard-to-reach communities.

Deliver with Excellence:Administer immunisations in line with established protocols, ensuring safety and efficacy at every step.

Innovate and Inspire:Embrace new technologies and approaches to enhance service delivery and engage young people effectively.

Advocate for Health:Be a role model and champion for children and young people, fostering trust and encouraging participation in health initiatives.

Data Management:Maintain accurate activity data to meet commissioner requirements and support continuous improvement.

Monitor Resources:Contribute to the effective management of financial resources while maintaining your NMC registration and re-validation.

This vacancy is open to those who have a current NMC PIN to practice as an Registered Nurse or Midwife in the UK, or those who are currently enrolled on a course which means they expect to receive their full NMC PIN within the next 3 months.

Please note an NMC PRN PIN is not a full NMC PIN and would not fulfil the essential criteria for this role.
