At Whittlebury Park, we are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Fitness instructor to join the Leisure team on a full-time basis. Nestled in hundreds of acres of ancient parkland, Whittlebury offers an award-winning 254-bedroom four-star hotel, conference, and training centre.We have award-winning facilities including a 3 AA Rosette restaurant and a luxurious spa.
Salary:
£23961.60 per annum (based on 40 hours er week)
What will you do?
As a fitness instructor in the leisure team, you will:
Ensure the gym and equipment are kept clean and in good conditionLook after members during peak times from 4 pm through to closing at 10 pm during the week and 2 pm through to closing at 8 pm on the weekend (Shifts may vary from late to early depending on the business’s needs.)
Assist members in using equipment where required, offering general fitness advice
Cover leisure club reception duties
Carry out gym inductions and teach classes if cover is required.
As the ideal candidate you must be a minimum of level 2 qualified as a Gym Instructor with an aspiration to gain crucial industry experience from working in a gym environment.
Previous experience in testing and back-washing swimming pools is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
The hours of work will vary and will include weekends, late evenings, and holiday periods.
This list of duties cannot be exhaustive due to the requirements of the hotel industry. Therefore, you may be required from time to time to carry out reasonable tasks as requested by management.
