To ensure that complete, accurate and timely appointments are booked and recorded on the computerised systems to the highest quality standards, in accordance with national and trust guidelines. Effective communication with the clinical teams advising of problems or issues arising that may impact on the running of their clinic.
Liaise with clinicians, nurses, and the wider MDT in identifying the need for, and organising ad hoc sessions. To be responsible for and oversee the management of specialist clinics. Including: BCG - To ensure accurate and timely completion of the complex BCG database by downloading data from various other sources and manipulating the data to enable appointment booking and reporting.
As the centre for BCG vaccinations, you will be required to take referrals from NIPE, LPT, E3 & BCG and offer time-appropriate appointments in line with current NHS guidelines. You will be required to communicate with the patients regarding these appointments.
