The Role:

We are looking for two Social Workers in our North Adults Complex Needs Team and Annual Review Team.

The teams provide vital information, assess needs and assign personalised packages of care to enable people to shape their own lives. Knowledge of Safeguarding and the Mental Capacity Act is key and being able to respond to the urgent needs of those we support at times of crisis.

Every case your team deals with will have different nuances, needs and challenges. Taking a person centred and strengths-based approach that inspires choice and control from service users so they can flourish and achieve the best results from their care.

It’s a busy team however you’ll be surrounded by supportive colleagues and managers whom are dedicated to helping you do your best work and providing regular supervision.

About You:

We are looking for registered social workers with excellent communication skills, ready to build rapport with service users and their carers. You’ll demonstrate high levels of compassion and empathy. At the same time, you will need a good grounding in the legal issues surrounding safeguarding, the Mental Capacity Act and The Care Act to confidently assess needs, complete and review care planning, write analytical reports, progress legal cases, manage risk and offer the supportive advice people need.
