Warehouse /Stores Operative - Chelmsford - Temporary-Permanent
Distribution company in Chelmsford are looking for a warehouse operative for a role which is likely to become a permanent opportunity withing the next few months.
Job Title - Warehouse / Stores Operative
Location - Chelmsford
it is essential that you have your own transport as this role is based on the outskirts of Chelmsford and not on a public transport route.
Responsibilities:
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently
- Receive and document incoming stock
- Perform regular stock checks and maintain inventory management system
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Assist in general warehouse duties as required and heavy lifting as required
Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver's licence and own transportation
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar role is preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills
