About Our Client

My client is leading retail destination for women and men. Established in the heart of Leeds and quickly became known for its expert fashion knowledge and leading shopping experience. They are now seeking a Junior Merchandiser to join the team.

• Provide weekly reporting of current sales and stock data, including summaries of all key performance indicators alongside line level detail across all categories
• Analyse sales data to allow for issues & trends to be identified
• Support Head of Merchandising in providing accurate historical analysis at the required level
• Support Buying counterparts in data collation to facilitate the construction of optimum ranges
• Support with third party warehousing and wholesale requirements
• Keep a keen eye on product performance, supporting Head of Merchandising in monitoring slow sellers & recognising best-sellers
• Identify and ensure markdowns are live in the system & liaise with multi-channel teams
• Monitor stock movement in and out of the business, supporting the logistics team in actioning any changes required
• Manage internal stock transfers to ensure bulk & pick locations are optimised for all channels
• Invoice checking
• Responsible for creation of all purchase orders and product creation in line with the business-critical path
• Support our multi-channel teams to ensure effective trading on their corresponding platforms

• The capability to work well as part of a team with a wide range of people
• Ability to plan and prioritise whilst being adaptable and open to change
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong listening & presentation skills
• Advanced knowledge of Excel
