Senior NPD Technologist

Are you passionate about product development and innovation within the food industry? Do you have the experience and skills to take a product from concept to launch? We are looking for a Senior NPD Technologist to drive our product development forward!

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver innovative and high-quality product concepts for both clients and internal projects.
• Lead and oversee NPD projects from initial idea through to market launch.
• Develop exciting frozen confectionery products in line with customer requirements and internal standards.
• Manage retail accounts and branded product development projects.
• Translate client briefs into practical development solutions, including costings, trials, and kitchen work.
• Review and approve development artwork.
• Liaise closely with the NPD project manager, sales team, and production departments to ensure seamless project execution.
• Collaborate with both internal teams and external stakeholders.

Ideal Candidate:

• Degree in Food Science or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
• Extensive hands-on experience in food product development, preferably in the food or drink manufacturing sector.
• Proven track record of taking products from concept through to launch.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly.
• Strong customer-facing and liaison skills, able to manage relationships and expectations effectively.
• Self-motivated, with a can-do, hands-on approach to problem-solving and project management.
• Innovative thinker with a passion for product development and improvement.
