Marketing Executive
Location: Sawston, CambridgeTerm: Permanent, Full or Part-time, Flexible.
Salary: Up to £38k pro rata

Paxt represents the world’s leading pro audio, musical instrument and music technology brands in Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Sub-Saharan Africa.
We are looking for a detail-oriented, resilient marketeer, well-versed with all the major social media channels and marketing platforms (with a focus on Instagram, Mailchimp and WhatsApp for business.)
This role will be delivering the marketing function of the business, supporting a growing team of international accounts managers to move the dial for a family of respected music and sound brands.
You’ll be managing our marketing platforms and developing marketing campaigns to drive demand and grow brand recognition for several prestigious brands across a host of frontier markets throughout Africa and the Middle East.

Key Responsibilities
The core areas of responsibility are:
- Reseller Marcomms – driving & monitoring activity across multiple reseller channels including reseller e-commerce sites and multiple social media channels.
- Marketing campaigns for new & current products, including competitions, advertising and events, both online and in-person.
- Full cycle email marketing, via the Mailchimp platform.
- Media, Artist & Expert Relations for both Sub-Saharan Africa and the Middle East, identifying, developing and measuring a growing database of influencers.
- In-house content generation and management of all Paxt’s community focussed social media accounts.

Success in this role depends on your ability to juggle multiple tasks and relationships.
We’re looking for marketeers with:
- Professional B2B marketing experience.
- An interest in music, audio or sound.
- Degree-level education, related in some way to the role (Music, Business, Marketing, etc.)
- Strong people skills; a gift for building rapport and forming lasting business relationships.
- Great organisational skills to seamlessly co-ordinate concurrent activities
- Fluent written and spoken English
