In this pivotal role, you will be at the heart of planning, managing, and delivering a diverse portfolio of contracts. Guided by our experienced contract managers, you will ensure that these contracts uphold Constitutional standards, such as patient choice, and comply with Public Contract Regulations.Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining high standards of service delivery and regulatory compliance.

You will work closely with Commissioners, Finance, Patient Safety & Quality (PSQ), and Performance colleagues, providing essential contract and procurement expertise.Together, we ensure that all contractual processes are followed within the Devon Integrated Care System (ICS), providing assurance NHS England.
Main duties of the job
Your role will involve overseeing the administration of contracts and meetings, maintaining comprehensive and well-organised records, and contributing to contract development. You will also manage communication on complex matters, participate in procurement processes, and handle negotiations with confidence and skill.
Success in this role means delivering contracts that meet all regulatory and organisational standards, fostering strong relationships with stakeholders, and ensuring seamless contract administration. Your ability to navigate negotiations and maintain meticulous records will be key indicators of your success.

Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications
Essential criteria- Educated to degree level in relevant subject or equivalent level of experience of working at a similar level in specialist area.
- Experience of co-ordinating projects in complex and challenging environments.
- Experience of stakeholder management.
- Comprehensive knowledge of project management.
- Expert knowledge of MS packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Further training or significant experience in specialist area.
- Evidence of continued professional development.
- Previous experience in similar role in public sector
