We are looking for an excellent individual who will provide functional knowledge of the D365 Finance and Operations modules with a focus on system performance and optimisation, enhancing the efficiency and capability of the Control Risks business.
This is a hands-on role, and the holder will provide configuration to Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations as well as assist in the implementation and support of Dynamics 365 solutions.
This role requires strong communication skills assisting non-technical audience. The holder is required to be able to work with adequate skills to define and resolve issues in an effective way
Requirements
What You'll Do:
System Performance- Ensure system performance and provide troubleshooting, proactively identify and address issues, following up to successful conclusions, working with internal teams or external support as necessary.
- Take part in scheduled upgrades, coordinate action plans with internal users, IT department and third-party support.
- Asist users with testing of the upgrades, including providing input into test scripts, escalate issues accordingly, to resolve them in a timely manner.
- Identify improvement opportunities process efficiency and consistency, with ability to analyse and document business processes.
- Have keen interest in Microsoft roadmap and the upcoming features, can suggest opportunities applicable to business needs, and input into plans and implementations.
- Work closely with IT department to ensure smooth running of BAU, system upgrades and improvement projects.
- Ensure positive and efficient rapport with the third-party support.
- Communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders in an understandable and mindful manner.
- Input into design of training materials and participate in the delivery of training initiatives.
- Provide input into a common data model, to meet reporting requirements and achieve clarity of data points and terminology used.
- Participate in ensuring system’s data integrity to enable accurate, insightful and timely reporting.
- Support Financial Planning & Analysis function to achieve the objectives of reporting strategy.
- Assist users with queries on existing reports and direct any new requirements to appropriate teams.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with relevant laws and regulations, as well as internal policies and data security safeguards.
- Input into and execution of business continuity and disaster recovery plans and planned exercises.
- Assist in providing input into updates of data governance policies and best practices.
Who You Are:
Education- Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience configuring, implementing and supporting Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.
- Ideally good command of General Ledger, Project Management and Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash & Bank, Procurement and Sourcing, Fixed Assets and Revenue Recognition modules of D365 Finance and Operations.
- Experience in data management tools and software such as SQL, Python, Power BI.
- Knowledge of D365 Customer Engagement, including Project Operations desirable.
- Power Platform skills and applied knowledge are a significant advantage.
- Demonstrable experience in effectively supporting finance teams and the ability to articulate and translate demands into workable solutions.
- Experience in business analysis in an organisation, including business process mapping and review, and process optimisation strategy and implementation.
- Good grasp of and keen interest in new and emerging technology trends.
- Owns problems, identifies and works with the right people to solve issues quickly within own remit and wider teams.
