Finance Officer

About Our Client

Our client is a well-established not-for-profit organisation based in England.

• Record accounts payable and receivable, and follow up with clients, suppliers, and partners as needed
• Identify additional accruals for late invoices at month-end
• Reconcile bank statements and identify discrepancies
• Perform month end closing in coordination with Management Accountant
• Process and reconcile Sales ledger invoices
• Process Purchase ledger invoices, credit notes and staff expenses
• Support with Annual Audit
• Maintain organised, accessible filing systems on shared drive.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Officer should have:

• Great Communication skills
• Proficiency in accounting software.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
