Location: Scarborough, North YorkshireHourly Rate: £12.45-£14.48
Number of Positions Available: 2
Shift Pattern- Monday to Friday- rotating shift pattern- 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm plus shift premium
Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for engineering? Our client, a leader in the electrical manufacturing industry, is seeking two Inspection Operatives to join their dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to quality assurance processes in a professional environment while receiving full training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of components to ensure conformity with engineering drawings and specifications.
- Manage incoming inspection and metrology activities, ensuring the safety of yourself and others in the working area.
- Develop and enhance standard inspection protocols to meet quality management standards.
- Qualify equipment systems through Gauge R&R.
- Utilise best available techniques and tools to optimise inspection methodologies.
- Collaborate with production and quality engineers to address any quality issues related to component metrology.
- Oversee the calibration programme for measurement equipment used within the plant.
What We're Looking For:
- Demonstrable interest in an engineering discipline.
- Proficient in PC use, particularly with Microsoft Office or equivalent software.
- Strong ability to work efficiently and accurately, meeting deadlines consistently.
- Practical science or engineering skills are a plus.
- Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, communication, and literacy skills.
- High level of flexibility and dependability, with a strong motivation to learn.
- A good record of attendance.
